Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2025: 878 Candidates Retain Seats in Round 2 Allotment
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the results of the Round 2 seat allotment for NEET UG 2025. A total of 878 candidates have opted to retain their previously allotted seats from Round 1, while 1,029 new candidates have secured fresh allotments in this round.

Top Choice Institutions: Patna Medical College (PMC) continues to be the most preferred choice among medical aspirants in Bihar.
Reporting Timeline: Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 2 are required to report to their respective colleges for admission formalities and document verification. The reporting period extends until September 25, 2025.
Seat Matrix Update: The seat matrix for Round 2 was revised following the addition of 200 new MBBS/BDS seats across medical colleges in Bihar, including Netaji Subhas Medical College and Himalaya Medical College.
Counselling Schedule: The choice filling window for Round 2 was open from September 15 to September 18, 2025. Candidates who did not participate in this round will be considered in the subsequent mop-up round, details of which will be announced later.
