The Bihar NEET UG counselling 2025, which covers admissions to 2,897 MBBS and BDS seats across government and private medical colleges, has once again been delayed. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) announced that document verification for Round 1 has been postponed due to “unavoidable reasons.”

• The Round 1 seat allotment results were already released as per the revised counselling schedule.

• Students could download their allotment orders from August 24 to August 28, 2025.

• The document verification and admission process, originally scheduled between August 26 and 28, has now been put on hold.

This sudden halt has left thousands of NEET-qualified aspirants in uncertainty, as they cannot confirm their seats without verification. Normally, candidates are required to report to their allotted colleges with original documents to complete the admission process. Since verification is deferred, the confirmation of provisional allotments remains pending.
