The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) commenced the Matric (Class 10) examinations for the year 2025 on February 17. The exams are being conducted in two shifts daily: the first shift from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, and the second shift from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. This schedule is set to continue until February 25, 2025. Approximately 16 lakh students are appearing for these examinations across the state.

Each examination session includes a 15-minute “cool-off” period, allowing students to read and analyze the question paper before commencing their answers. To pass, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject.

The BSEB has implemented strict measures to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the exams, including the deployment of additional invigilators and the installation of surveillance systems at various centers. Students are advised to adhere to the guidelines issued by the board and to reach their respective examination centers well ahead of time to avoid any last-minute hassles.
