    BHU PG seat allotment result for 2023 admission after August 15

    The official website — bhuonline.in will host the BHU PG seat allotment result after August 15.

    The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will announce the seat allotment result for postgraduate admission in 2023 after August 15. The admissions against PG admission will be done at the respective departments only, university added. The official website — bhuonline.in will host the BHU PG seat allotment result. The university had earlier said that the BHU seat allotment list will be issued after August 11.

    “The BHU PG Admissions 2023-24 will be done at the respective Departments only after 15.08.2023,” a statement on the BHU website said.

    “The result of PG Programs 2023-24 will be announced after 15.08.2023,” it added.

    The university will admit candidates on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test Posgraduate (CUET PG) 2023 marks. Candidates seeking admission to BHU PG programmes were required to check the eligibility for the programme they intended to take admission to before registering for the PG programme.

    BHU PG Admission 2023: Preference order for students

    After the seat allotment list is announced, BHU has aksed the registered candidates to prioritise the regular seat option over the paid seat option for their preferred programme.

    If a candidate chooses a paid seat despite having chances of qualifying for a regular seat bbased on merit, the candidate will be allotted the paid seat. Allotment will strictly adhere to the candidate’s ‘Preference Order’ and merit.

    Explaining further, BHU said that if a candidate selects the following choices — MA Hindi paid seat and MA Hindi regular seat, the candidate will be allotted the MA Hindi paid seat (first choice) even though he/she fulfills the merit requirements for MA Hindi ‘regular seat’ (the second choice).
