The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has announced that Round 1 registration for NEET UG 2025 counselling will close today, July 29. Eligible candidates must complete the online registration by 11:55 PM to be considered for the first-round seat allotment.

🎓 Who Can Apply

• Candidates included in Assam’s NEET UG 2025 provisional merit list.

• Approximately 19,809 candidates are eligible to register for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes under the state quota.

• Around 1,550 MBBS seats are available across 13 government medical colleges in the state.

🧾 Steps to Complete Registration

1. Visit the official DME Assam counselling website.

2. Fill in the registration form with your NEET UG 2025 details.

3. Pay the registration fee (approximately ₹1,000).

4. Submit and download the confirmation page for future reference.

5. Begin choice filling from July 30 onwards.

• NEET UG 2025 Scorecard

• Class 10 and 12 Mark Sheets & Certificates

• Domicile Certificate of Assam

• Caste Certificate (if applicable)

• Passport-size photographs

• Valid Photo ID proof

⚠️ Important Note

Candidates who fail to register by the deadline will not be eligible for Round 1 seat allotment. They may have to wait for subsequent rounds, which are subject to seat availability and merit position.
