The All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025 is scheduled for April 5, 2025. This examination is conducted for admission to Classes VI and IX in Sainik Schools across India.

Exam Pattern and Mode:

• Mode of Examination: Pen-and-paper based (OMR-based)
• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Medium of Examination: Candidates can choose from English, Hindi, or regional languages. For Class IX, the medium is English only.

Marking Scheme:

• Correct Answer: +1 mark
• Incorrect Answer: No negative marking
• Unanswered Question: No marks awarded or deducted

Qualifying Criteria:

• Class VI Admission: Candidates must be between 10 to 12 years old as of March 31, 2025. They should have passed Class V from a recognized school.
• Class IX Admission: Candidates must be between 13 to 15 years old as of March 31, 2025. They should have passed Class VIII from a recognized school.
