The National Institute of Design (NID) is scheduled to conduct the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Prelims for 2025 on January 5, 2025.

Question Paper Pattern:

• BDes Program:
  • Section A: Comprises Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) totaling 27 questions.
    • Questions 1 to 15 carry 1 mark each.
    • Questions 16 to 26 carry 2 marks each.
    • Question 27 carries 3 marks.
  • Section B: Includes 4 subjective-type questions, each worth 15 marks.
  • The total marks for the BDes prelims are 100.
• MDes Program:
  • The question paper consists of 37 questions, divided into objective and subjective types.
  • The total marks for the MDes prelims are 100.
