    VITEEE 2024 Exam: Candidates are required to carry their admit card and a valid photo ID.

     

    Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will commence the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2024 exam from today, April 19. The VITEEE 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from April 19 to 30 in online mode.

     

    Candidates must read the important information mentioned on the VITEEE 2024 admit card such as examination center address, date, timings, guidelines.

    The VITEEE 2024 examination will be administered online, with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The exam comprises 125 questions across five sections: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude, and English. Mathematics holds the highest weightage, followed by Physics and Chemistry. Candidates will receive one mark for each correct response, and there is no penalty for wrong answers. The VITEEE 2024 result will be declared on May 3.

    VITEEE 2024: Items prohibited

    The following items are prohibited inside the examination center:

    • Instruments such as geometry and pencil boxes
    • Handbags or pouches
    • Any type of paper, notebooks, or textual material
    • Food, beverages, and water (packaged or loose)
    • Smartphones, earphones, microphones, and pagers
    • Devices such as calculators docupens, slider rules, log tables, recording devices, tape recorders, digital watches with calculator functions.
    • Any metallic objects or electronic gadgets.

     

     

    VITEEE 2024: Exam guidelines

    Candidates appearing for the VITEEE exam 2024 can go through the guidelines mentioned below.

    • Candidates should reach the exam venue at least 1 hour before the commencement of the exam.
    • Candidates are required to carry the admit card and a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre for verification purposes.
    • No candidate will be permitted to leave the exam centre before the exam is over.
    • Cheating, duplicating, or using other unfair tactics will result in disqualification.
    • Candidates shall submit the rough sheet before leaving the hall.
    • Candidates are required to obey the invigilator.
