New Delhi, July 2, 2025 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the Final Answer Key for CUET UG 2025 after evaluating student objections.

🔍 27 Questions Dropped, Full Marks Awarded

After a thorough review, 27 questions across various subjects have been dropped from the exam. Candidates who attempted these questions will be awarded full marks.

🗓 Exam & Response Timeline

CUET UG 2025 was conducted from May 13 to June 4 in two shifts each day. The provisional answer key was released on June 17, and the objection window remained open until June 20.

📈 Over 13.5 Lakh Candidates Appeared

More than 13.5 lakh students appeared for the exam this year. With the dropping of 27 questions, many candidates are expected to see changes in their final scores.

⏳ Result Expected Soon

The CUET UG 2025 result is expected to be released in the first or second week of July, based on the final answer key.

📝 What This Means for Students

• Students can now calculate their scores using the final answer key and include 5 bonus marks for each dropped question.

• The marking scheme remains: +5 for correct, -1 for incorrect, and +5 for each dropped question.

• On result day, students will need their application number and date of birth to download their scorecards, which will include raw scores, normalized scores, percentiles, and qualifying status.

What Comes Next?

1. Result Announcement – Expected within the first two weeks of July.

2. University Merit Lists – Since NTA will not release an All-India Rank, universities will prepare their own merit lists based on CUET scores.

3. Admission & Counselling – Participating universities will begin counselling based on their individual cut-offs and admission criteria.
