CBSE to Organise Career Awareness Programmes for Principals and Counsellors from June 12

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the launch of a special initiative aimed at enhancing career guidance in schools. Starting from June 12, 2025, the board will conduct a series of career awareness programmes for school principals and counsellors across the country.
This initiative is part of CBSE’s ongoing efforts to equip educational leaders with the tools and knowledge necessary to guide students in making informed career choices, especially in the rapidly evolving landscape of higher education and employment.

Emerging career opportunities in India and abroad

Mental health and career readiness among students
Tools and resources for effective career counselling in schools
