New Delhi, May 20, 2025 — The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the post-result schedule for the 2025 Class 10 and 12 board examinations. Students dissatisfied with their results can now apply for scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets, followed by options for mark verification and re-evaluation.

Revised Post-Result Process

In a move to enhance transparency, CBSE has revised its post-result procedures. Students are now required to first obtain scanned copies of their evaluated answer books before proceeding to mark verification or re-evaluation. This change aims to allow students to identify specific discrepancies in their answer sheets prior to requesting any corrections.

Application Schedule and Fees

For Class 12 Students:

• Scanned Copies: Applications open from May 21 to May 27. The fee is ₹700 per subject.

• Mark Verification and Re-evaluation: Applications accepted from May 28 to June 3. Verification costs ₹500 per subject, and re-evaluation is ₹100 per question.

For Class 10 Students:

• Scanned Copies: Applications open from May 27 to June 2. The fee is ₹500 per subject.

• Mark Verification and Re-evaluation: Applications accepted from June 3 to June 7. Verification costs ₹500 per subject, and re-evaluation is ₹100 per question.

Important Guidelines

• Only students who have applied for and received scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets are eligible to apply for mark verification and re-evaluation.

• Re-evaluation is permitted only for theory papers.

• Students can apply for re-evaluation of up to 10 questions per subject.

• Any changes in marks, whether an increase or decrease, will be reflected in a revised mark sheet. Students must surrender their original mark sheets to receive the updated version.

Application Process

Students can apply through the official CBSE website: cbse.gov.in. They will need to log in using their roll number, school number, and admit card ID to access the application forms for scanned copies, mark verification, and re-evaluation.
