Dehradun, May 19, 2025 — The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) has extended the application deadline for the UPESEAT 2025 entrance exam to May 29, 2025, providing aspiring students additional time to apply for various undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including B.Tech, BBA, B.Pharm, LL.B., MBA, and more.

The UPESEAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted from May 31 to June 1, 2025. Candidates can apply through the official UPES admissions portal at upes.ac.in.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech Programs: Applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in both Class X and XII, with at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the Class XII level. For the B.Tech (Mathematics and Computing) program, a minimum of 70% marks in Class X and XII, along with 70% in PCM in Class XII, is required.

• Other Programs: Eligibility criteria vary by program. For instance, BBA and B.Pharm programs require a minimum of 50% marks in Class X and XII, with specific subject requirements for B.Pharm.

Application Process

To apply, candidates must register on the UPES admissions portal, fill out the application form, upload necessary documents, and pay the application fee of ₹1,750.

Admission Modes

UPES offers multiple admission pathways for B.Tech programs:

• UPESEAT 2025: The university’s own entrance exam.

• JEE Main: Candidates with valid JEE Main scores can apply directly.

• SAT: International applicants can apply using SAT scores.

• Board Merit: Admission based on Class XII board exam performance.
