Who Conducts UP NEET Counselling?

The UP NEET UG counselling is done by the Director General, Medical Education & Training, Uttar Pradesh. DGME UP conducts the UP NEET UG counselling in 6 parts. Here is a breakdown of the UP NEET counselling schedule as per previous year’s data.

UP NEET UG Counselling Registration Date

The registration date for UP NEET UG counselling is not yet announced. Meanwhile, students interested in securing admission into top medical colleges in UP must register online on upneet.gov.in.

How to Register for UP NEET UG Counselling

Last year, students had to register online by depositing a registration fee of ₹2000. The registration form will be available on the website upneet.gov.in tentatively by mid August, 2025.

UP NEET UG Counselling Fees

For the registration process, it is compulsory to deposit a non-refundable fee amount of ₹2000. Students must deposit the registration fee amount and the security deposit amount for successful registration. Here is a quick update on UP NEET UG counselling fees.

UP NEET UG Counselling Merit List 

Students planning on getting a seat in UP Government or private medical college must get shortlisted under the merit list. The merit list for UP NEET UG counselling is prepared by the DGME UP. It is expected that the DGME will release the merit list latest by August last week provided that the registration begins by August 1st week as expected.

UP NEET UG Counselling Choice Filling

As per previous year’s dates, it is expected that the UP NEET UG counselling choice filling and locking period will last for around 5 days during August last week. Students who are willing to participate in the UP NEET UG counselling must prepare themselves for all the rounds including the choice filling round.
