The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh (DGME-UP) has released the state merit list for NEET UG 2025 counselling. A total of 30,699 candidates have been included in the list for MBBS and BDS admissions in the state.

As per the official schedule, round 1 choice filling will begin from July 31 on the official website upneet.gov.in. Eligible candidates can fill and lock their choices for government and private medical/dental colleges till the notified deadline.

The counselling process is for admission to state quota seats (85%) in institutions like King George’s Medical University (KGMU) Lucknow, LLRM Medical College Meerut, GSVM Kanpur, and various private colleges affiliated with the state.

Candidates must ensure timely payment of the security deposit and completion of the choice filling process to be considered for seat allotment. The round 1 allotment result is expected to be declared in the first week of August.
