    UGC NET 2023 exam will be conducted tomorrow. Candidates must carry their NET admit cards and a valid photo ID to the exam centre.

    The National Testing Agency will be holding the UGC NET December 2023 exam tomorrow, December 6, 2023. The UGC NET 2023 exam will be held in 2 shifts. Candidates must arrive at the EXAM hall latest by 8.30 am for the first shift and 2.30 pm for the second shift.

    Candidates attempting the exam must carry the UGC NET admit card 2023 along with a valid photo ID proof for verification purposes. The UGC NET 2023 admit card can be downloaded online from the official website- ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

    UGC NET 2023 Exam – Documents to be carried to the exam centre

    Candidates must ensure that the ID proof they carry to the exam centre is the same one they used to fill out the UGC NET application form. It is extremely important that candidates carry their NTA UGC NET admit cards with them to the exam centres. Along with the UGC NET exam admit card, candidates must also carry one valid photo ID for proof of identity.

    Candidates must take care to carry the same photo ID submitted during the time of filling out the application form. Candidates claiming relaxation under PWD category must also bring a PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority. The following are considered valid forms of ID proof:

    • Aadhaar Card

    • Employee ID card

    • Photo ID Card issued by Central/State Govt./ID Card issued by the University/College.

    • Voter ID Card

    • PAN Card

    • Driving Licence

    • Passport

    According to the official UGC NET exam pattern 2023 released by the National Testing agency, Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 have questions presented in the form of MCQs with no negative marking. Paper 1 is held for a total of 100 marks. Paper 2 is held for a total of 200 marks, with each question holding 2 marks. The exam will be held for 3 hours in the online mode.

    The subjects that candidates can choose in Paper 2 include political science, philosophy, geography, history, Indian culture, law, commerce and many more. Paper 1, on the other hand, is the same for all candidates and is concerned with general awareness of the learning process when it comes to higher education and teaching abilities.
