    Symbiosis Institute of Design to start SEED 2024 registration on August 17; exam in January

    The last date for SEED registration 2024 and payment of fee at the official website, sid.edu.in is November 20. Know admission process.

    Symbiosis Institute of Design announced the schedule for Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED 2024). The registration process for the entrance exam will begin from August 17 at the official website, sid.edu.in. The SEED 2024 exam will be conducted in January 2024.

    The last date for SEED registration 2024 and payment of fee is November 20. The programme will commence in July next year. The validity of the SEED score is for one year.

    The design entrance exam will be conducted in online proctored mode between 11 AM to 4 PM on the SEED exam date 2024. Aspirants will get an hour to answer 60 questions. As per the exam pattern, the question paper will have multiple-choice, match the columns, fill in the blanks, image-based and comprehension based questions.

    The paper will contain a mix of questions related to visual sensitivity and judgement, observational, perceptual and reasoning abilities, problem solving, basic knowledge of logic of science and mathematics, art, craft and culture, design and environment.

    SEED 2024 admission process

    Admission to BDes programme at SID will be according to the following process.

    Level 1 – In the first stage, candidates will have to appear in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED). Those candidates who qualify the SEED exam 2024 will be eligible to appear for SID’s Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI). Shortlisting for admission will be based only by specialization selected during online registration.

    Level 2 – Perform the PRPI task. This will be shared 3 days prior to the chosen date of online PRPI by the university. Upload the PRPI Task on the portal a day prior to the PRPI.

    Level 3 – Appear for the online Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI).

    Final selection will be based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), portfolio review, PRPI task and personal interaction as well as on the basis of the information provided by the candidate in the application form and the chosen specialization.
