    SEHSS 2025: IAPT to Conduct Standard Examination in High School Science on November 30

    The Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) will conduct the Standard Examination in High School Science (SEHSS) 2025 on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This national-level voluntary exam is designed for students studying in Class 10 or lower as on the exam date and is open to all education boards including CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, Open Schools, and International Boards.

    Key Dates:

    • Enrollment Opens: September 21, 2025 (6:00 AM)

    • Enrollment Closes: October 5, 2025 (6:00 PM)

    Eligibility:

    • Students must be in Class 10 or below on November 30, 2025.

    • Especially beneficial for students who could not appear for NSEJS 2025.

    • No age or board restrictions.

    Exam Pattern & Syllabus:

    • Total Questions: 60 (48 single-correct + 12 multiple-correct)

    • Equal weightage to Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics at Class 10 level.

    • Based on CBSE Class 10 syllabus (NCERT textbooks).

    • OMR-based test.

    Exam Fee:

    • ₹300 for Indian students, USD 20 for overseas students.

    Awards & Recognition:

    • Centre Top 10%: Certificate

    • State Top 1%: State Topper Merit Certificate

    • National Top 1%: Merit Certificate + Book Prize

    • Top 5 Students in India: Gold Medal + Certificate + ₹20,000 cash award* (*if continuing Class XI with Physics)

    Special Opportunity – OCSE Camp:

    • Top 25 students from each of the five zones will be invited to a 10-day Orientation Camp for Science Excellence, with free lodging, boarding, and travel allowance.

    Languages:

    • English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada (other languages if opted by 500+ students).

    Solutions Access:

    • All participants will receive complete solutions online after the exam.
