NTA JEE Main 2025 session 1 ends with 94.4% attendance; UGC NET records 76.5% participation
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently concluded the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025, reporting an attendance rate of 94.4%. This reflects a slight decrease compared to the previous year’s session, which recorded a 95.8% attendance.
In parallel, the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for the December 2024 cycle, conducted from January 3 to 27, 2025, observed a participation rate of 76.5%. This indicates a modest increase from prior sessions, suggesting enhanced engagement among candidates.
These statistics underscore the sustained commitment of aspirants toward higher education and professional qualifications in India.
