• Subjects Affected: The dropped questions spanned across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Specific question IDs include Physics: 656445270, 7364751025; Chemistry: 656445728; Mathematics: 6564451142, among others .

• Reasons for Dropping: Errors leading to the removal of questions included incorrect answers, translation mistakes, and the inclusion of out-of-syllabus topics. For instance, topics like Newton’s Law of Cooling, which had been removed from the syllabus, appeared in the exam .​

• Impact on Students: According to NTA’s policy, full marks are awarded to all candidates for dropped questions, regardless of whether they attempted them. For multiple-choice questions with all correct options, candidates who attempted the question receive full marks .​

• Concerns Over Transparency: Discrepancies have been noted between NTA’s official statements and the actual number of dropped questions, leading to allegations of under-reporting and a lack of accountability .
