NMC notifies NEET UG 2024 syllabus; confused students speculate on reduction
NEET UG 2024 syllabus PDF is available on NMC official website. Students shared notice on social media and asked if it’s “true” as website is not working.
The Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) has notified the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2024 syllabus. Aspirants can check the NEET UG syllabus 2024 on the NMC official website, nmc.org.in.
“It is notified to all the stakeholders especially to the aspiring candidates that the Under Graduate Medical Education Board, an autonomous body under the National Medical Commission has finalised the NEET UG 2024 syllabus,” said NMC in an official notice.
The commission said that the syllabus has been uploaded on the website for reference and advised students to refer to the “updated” syllabus to prepare for NEET 2024 and others to prepare the study material.
Various students, aspirants, and doctors are speculating about reduction in NEET 2024 syllabus and the authenticity of the notification on syllabus being shared on social media as the NMC website is not working. While some pointed out errors in the NEET 2024 reduced syllabus PDF, a few also asked if NMC will conduct the NEET exam next year.
An X user asked if NMC has “really” reduced NEET syllabus 2024.
An aspirant asked whether NMC will conduct the exam now and said, “Now that the reduced syllabus is released by nmc,nta might not be the conducting body?”
Referring to the website, a student said in a post “This is a notice stating that the syllabus of NEET. Exam is reduced but NMC site is showing database error.”
“NMC site is crashed…is the pdf circulating about syllabus reduction for NEET 2024 is true…?,” asked another X user.
