NMC Approves Two New Government Medical Colleges in Odisha with 100 MBBS Seats Each

In a significant boost to medical education and healthcare infrastructure, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has approved the establishment of two new government medical colleges in Odisha. Each college will have an annual intake capacity of 100 MBBS seats, starting from the academic session 2025-26.

Each college will admit 100 MBBS students per year, contributing a total of 200 new MBBS seats in the state.
