May 24, 2025 | New Delhi — The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam city slip for the NIFT 2025 BDes Situation Test, a key component of the second stage of the NIFT entrance exam. Registered candidates can now check and download their exam city details from the official NIFT admissions portal.

The Stage 2 examination, which includes the Situation Test for BDes aspirants, will be held on June 8, 2025 under the newly introduced NIFTEE (NIFT Entrance Examination) framework.

What is the Situation Test?

The Situation Test is a hands-on assessment for Bachelor of Design (BDes) candidates, designed to evaluate their ability to materialize ideas into tangible 3D models using provided materials. It tests a candidate’s creative thinking, innovation, spatial visualization, and craftsmanship — all of which are critical for a career in design.

This test is part of the second stage of the NIFTEE selection process and is conducted only for those shortlisted based on their performance in Stage 1 (written test).

How to Download the Exam City Slip

Candidates can check their exam city allocation using the following steps:

1. Visit the official website: nift.ac.in or exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT

2. Click on the link titled “NIFT 2025 Stage 2 Exam City Slip”

3. Enter your application number, date of birth, and security code

4. Submit the details and view/download the city slip

Note: This is not the admit card. The admit card for the NIFT Situation Test will be released separately in the coming days.
