Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2025 are eligible to participate in their respective state counselling processes for these reserved seats.

• Assam

• Tamil Nadu (expected to open soon)

• Kerala

• Maharashtra (initial notification released)

• Uttar Pradesh (registration portal to open shortly)

• West Bengal (verification schedule out)

Key Features of State Quota Counselling:
✅ 85% of government college MBBS and BDS seats are filled through state-level counselling.
✅ Only candidates with valid NEET UG 2025 scores are eligible.
✅ State domicile or eligibility criteria must be met.
✅ Reservation policies (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH) vary by state.

Typical Counselling Process:
1️⃣ Online registration on the respective state counselling portal.
2️⃣ Document upload and verification.
3️⃣ Publication of state merit list.
4️⃣ Choice filling and locking of college preferences.
5️⃣ Seat allotment based on NEET score, merit rank, and reservation policies.
6️⃣ Reporting to allotted colleges with original documents.

Documents Generally Required:

• NEET UG 2025 scorecard and admit card

• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets

• Domicile certificate of the state

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• EWS certificate (if applicable)

• Passport-sized photographs

• Valid ID proof (Aadhaar card, etc.)

Important Note for Candidates:
Counselling schedules and processes differ by state. Candidates are strongly advised to regularly check the official websites of their respective state counselling authorities for detailed notifications, dates, and guidelines.

For the remaining 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, counselling will be conducted centrally by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on mcc.nic.in.
