NEET UG Counselling 2025: JMI introduces NRI category in BDS courses

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has introduced a dedicated Foreign/NRI category in its Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program starting from the 2025–26 academic year. Under this new provision, two seats are reserved exclusively for candidates applying under the NRI or Foreign quota. Admissions will be conducted strictly on the basis of NEET UG 2025 merit rankings through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) counselling process.

Admission Process: Through MCC NEET-UG counselling, based on merit
Security Deposit: ₹2,00,000 (refundable) at the time of registration for NRI seat choice filling
Course Fee: USD 50,000 (one-time, non-refundable) for the entire duration of the BDS program

Candidates applying under the NRI category must present the following documents at the time of counselling and admission:
NEET UG 2025 admit card and scorecard
Seat allotment letter from MCC
Passport and visa/residence permit of the sponsoring NRI parent
NRI certificate issued by the Indian Embassy (not older than 6 months)
Medical fitness certificate
Bond agreement (as per JMI’s format)
Other standard academic and identity documents
