MP NEET UG Counselling 2025: Round 2 Choice-Filling from September 11; Full Schedule Released
The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh has released the schedule for Round 2 of NEET UG 2025 counselling. According to the notification, the choice-filling and locking process for MBBS and BDS seats will begin on September 11, 2025, giving candidates another opportunity to secure admission in medical and dental colleges across the state.
Key Dates for MP NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Counselling
September 11 to 13, 2025: Choice-filling and locking of preferences.
September 15, 2025: Seat allotment result declaration.
September 16 to 20, 2025: Reporting at allotted colleges and document verification.
September 22, 2025: Publication of vacant seats for Mop-Up Round (if required).
Eligibility for Round 2
Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1.
Those who were allotted a seat but chose to upgrade.
Students who did not register earlier but wish to participate now.
Candidates who reported but did not lock choices can also participate.
Documents Required During Reporting
Students must carry the following for verification:
NEET UG 2025 Admit Card & Scorecard
Class 10 & 12 mark sheets and certificates
Domicile certificate (MP candidates)
Category certificate (if applicable)
Allotment letter and admission fee receipt
Seat Availability
The Round 2 allotment will include vacant MBBS and BDS seats from government and private medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, seats that were not confirmed in Round 1 will also be carried forward.
Student Advisory
The DME has urged students to carefully review their options during the choice-filling window, as locked choices cannot be modified later. Experts recommend prioritizing government medical colleges first due to affordability and higher demand.
What’s Next?
After Round 2, a Mop-Up Round will be conducted for remaining seats, followed by a stray vacancy round if needed. This ensures maximum utilization of seats before the academic session begins.
