MET Counselling and Seat Allotment 2023 – Dates, Procedure, Document Verification
MAHE has activated the MET 2023 counselling website – counseling.manipal.edu. The MET counselling 2023 will begin shortly in online mode. Manipal BTech exam qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the counselling of MET 2023. Detailed MET 2023 counselling dates will be updated on this page soon after the official announcement. Candidates will have to complete choice filling and locking of MET 2023 before the deadline.
The candidates will first have to complete the counselling registration of MET, following which, aspirants have to fill in their preferred choices and upload the relevant documents. The authorities will then release the MET seat allotment 2023 result after each round of counselling. Candidates who will be allotted seats during MET seat allotment 2023 will have to report to the allotted institute to confirm Manipal BTech 2023 admission. MET Counselling and Seat Allotment 2023
The authorities will conduct the counselling of Manipal entrance exam 2023 in online mode. Eligible and shortlisted candidates first have to register for the MET 2023 counselling, complete choice filling, and upload required documents. After this, the authorities will release the seat allotment result of MET 2023 for each round of counselling. MET 2023 Counselling and Seat Allotment
Following steps will be included in the counselling of MET 2023 and seat allotment-
Step 1: Registration- Candidates will have to first register for the MET counselling 2023 on the official website. Candidates will be required to enter all the required details for registration.
Step 2: Online Choice Filling/ Modification- Candidates will have to log in to the candidate portal using application number, OTBS Password, captcha code and select their preferred choices of campus and courses. Candidates can modify their choices of college and branch as per their preference.
Step 3: Documents Upload- Students have to upload the following documents in online mode for participating in the MET counselling and seat allotment 2023.
Transfer Certificate.
MET 2023 Hall Ticket.
Aadhaar Card (Candidate’s Original).
PAN Card of the parents (Original).
Class 10 Mark Sheet (For Date of Birth Proof).
Class 12 Mark Sheet.
Conduct Certificate.
Candidate’s 2 Recent Passport Size Photograph.
Authorization Letter (in case a representative is attending on behalf of a candidate).
JEE Mains 2023 January scorecard / SAT score / any state CET marks.
Step 4: Seat Allotment- The authorities will allot seats to the candidates on the basis of their rank on the merit list. Students will have to check the status of their seat allotment of MET by logging in to the candidate portal. Students who have been allotted a seat but want to upgrade will have to report to the allotted institute and select the option of participating in the next round. Students who will not be allotted any seat in previous rounds will automatically be considered for the next round seat allotment.
Step 5: Reporting to the Allotted Institute- Students have to visit the allotted institute for completing the admission process. Students need to carry the provisional MET seat allotment letter 2023 along with the necessary documents to the institute at the time of admission.
Intra-Institute Sliding
Candidates who have been allocated a seat in any institute can participate in the intra-institute sliding. Intra-institute sliding is the modification of allotted branches within the institute. Students have to do a fresh registration in the institute for the branch sliding. Students must note that Intra-Institute sliding is an only modification in the branch allotted to candidates in any institute and not any fresh allotment.
MET 2023 Spot Round Counselling
Manipal Academy of Higher Education will conduct the spot round counselling of Manipal Entrance Test for the seats which remain vacant after the round one to seven counselling. Students who want to participate in the spot round counselling will have to register in online mode and report to the MET counselling 2023 venue as per the schedule.
