The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has announced a revised schedule for Round 3 of NEET UG 2025 counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions under the state quota. As per the updated timeline, the choice-filling process will begin tomorrow, allowing eligible candidates to select and lock their preferred colleges and courses afresh.

The revision comes after adjustments in seat availability and verification processes following the completion of the earlier rounds. Candidates can access the updated counselling schedule on the official website — cetcell.net.in/NEET-UG-2025.

“All eligible candidates who wish to participate in Round 3 must log in and submit their choices within the revised dates. No requests for further extensions will be entertained,” the official notification stated.

According to the revised plan, candidates who have resigned from previously allotted seats or were not allotted any seat in earlier rounds can participate in this round. After the choice-filling window closes, the seat allotment process will be conducted based on merit, preferences, and seat availability.

Once allotted, candidates must download their allotment letter and report to the respective colleges within the stipulated time to confirm admission. Failure to do so will lead to forfeiture of the seat.

Who Can Participate in Round 3

• Candidates who were not allotted a seat in earlier rounds.

• Candidates who resigned from Round 1 or 2 allotted seats within the deadline.

• Candidates who have newly registered or re-verified documents as per DME guidelines.

Important Note:
Once a seat is allotted in Round 3 and the admission is confirmed, candidates will not be eligible to participate in further rounds, including stray vacancy rounds, as per NEET UG counselling rules.
