    Jawaharlal Nehru University, JNU online application process for undergraduate and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programmes for the 2024-25 academic session concludes today, August 12. The first merit list is expected to be released on August 21, 2024.

    Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will end the registration process for undergraduate courses and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programmes today, August 12, 2024, for the academic session at 11:50 pm.

    Students who have still not applied for the same, can submit their applications through the official JNU website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in. The first merit list is anticipated to be released on August 21, 2024.

     

     

    As outlined in the e-prospectus available on the JNU website, admissions to BA (Honours) in Foreign Languages, BSc in Ayurveda Biology, and COP programmes will be conducted through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduates, organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR JNU ONLINE ADMISSION 2024

    For BA and BSc programmes: Candidates must have completed their Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board, securing at least 45 percent marks. Admission to these programmes is primarily based on the CUET (UG) scores.

    For COP Courses: Similar to the BA and BSc programmes, candidates must have completed their Class 12 with a minimum of 45 percent marks. There is no requirement for a viva voce examination; admissions will be based solely on merit, as determined by the candidate’s performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

    REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR JNU ADMISSIONS 2024

    • Class 10 and 12 marksheets
    • Date of birth certificate
    • Passport-sized photograph
    • Scanned signature
    • Caste certificate (if applicable)
    • Diploma certificate (if applicable)
    • Scanned left-hand thumb impression

    HERE’S HOW TO APPLY FOR JNU ADMISSIONS

    • Visit the official website at jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
    • Click on the application link and log in using your NTA Application Number and Date of Birth as your User ID and Password, respectively.
    • Complete the application form with the required documents and information.
    • Review your details and submit the form if everything is correct.
    • Download and print the submitted form for future reference.

    Applicants are required to pay an application fee while submitting their forms. The fee is Rs 268 for undergraduate courses and Rs 219 for COP courses.
