Jharkhand School Timing Change: Change in the timing of schools in Jharkhand, classes up to 8th will start at 11.30 and classes from 9th onwards till 12 noon.
Due to heat and heat wave in Jharkhand, there has been a change in the opening and closing time of schools. In the order issued by the School Education and Literacy Department of Jhakhand, it has been said that the timings of all government, private and non-government aided/unaided schools running in the state have been changed. It has been said in the order that classes from class 6 to class 8 will be conducted from 7.00 am to 11.30 am and classes above class 09 will be conducted from 7.00 am to 12.00 noon.
It has been said in the order that during this period, prayer meetings or sports and other activities will not be conducted in sunlight, but mid-day meals will continue. A separate decision will be taken and communicated regarding compensation for the loss caused to children’s education during this period. This order will remain in force from 22.04.2024 till further orders.
