he Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025. Rajit Gupta from the IIT Delhi zone has emerged as the All India Rank (AIR) 1 holder, scoring an impressive 332 out of 360 marks. Notably, the top 15 ranks in the Common Rank List (CRL) have been secured exclusively by male candidates.

Top 10 Rank Holders – JEE Advanced 2025

Among female candidates, Devdutta Majhi from the IIT Kharagpur zone has achieved the highest rank, securing AIR 16 with a score of 312 marks.

Examination Overview

• Total Candidates Appeared: 1,80,422

• Total Qualified Candidates: 54,378

  • Male Candidates: 44,974

  • Female Candidates: 9,404

• Top Performing Zones:

  • IIT Hyderabad: 12,946 qualifiers

  • IIT Delhi: 11,370 qualifiers

The examination was conducted on May 18, 2025, in a computer-based format. Candidates can access their results and the final answer keys on the official website: jeeadv.ac.in.

Next Steps

Qualified candidates are advised to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process, which is set to commence on June 3, 2025. The counselling will facilitate admissions into IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).
