• IIT Delhi had the most competitive closing rank in Chemical Engineering this year, with the final allotment going up to AIR 2231.

• IIT Bombay followed closely, closing at around 2545.

• IIT Kanpur, known for its strong chemical research facilities, admitted students up to a rank of ~4200, offering slightly more flexibility.
