The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has successfully concluded its 60th Campus Placement Programme, marking a significant milestone with record-breaking participation and salary offers.

Key Highlights:

• Highest Domestic Package: The top domestic salary offered was ₹26.70 lakh per annum, extended by Power Finance Corporation (PFC).
• Average Salary: The average salary for placed candidates stood at ₹12.49 lakh per annum, indicating a positive trend compared to previous years.
• Participation: A record number of over 8,000 newly qualified Chartered Accountants secured placements, with 240 leading companies participating in the programme.

Comparison with Previous Year:

• In the 58th Campus Placement Programme, the highest domestic salary was ₹23.70 lakh per annum, while the highest international offer reached ₹49.20 lakh per annum. The average salary during that period was ₹11.17 lakh per annum.

This year’s placement programme reflects a growing demand for Chartered Accountants, with increased participation from prestigious organizations and competitive salary packages, underscoring the value and recognition of the CA qualification in the industry.
