Feedback on CBSE question papers 2025 ‘vague, unclear’; board has 3 requests for schools

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated the Class 10 and 12 board examinations for 2025, commencing on February 15. In response to feedback regarding certain question papers being perceived as vague or unclear, the board has issued a notification to schools, emphasizing the importance of timely and structured feedback.
In its communication, CBSE has requested schools to:
Provide Prompt Feedback: Schools are urged to submit their observations and any issues concerning the question papers without delay. This proactive approach aims to address and rectify ambiguities swiftly.
Utilize the OECMS Platform: Feedback should be channeled through the Online Exam Centre Management System (OECMS), ensuring a streamlined and efficient process for handling observations.
Ensure Detailed Reporting: Schools are encouraged to offer comprehensive details in their feedback, including specific questions that may be problematic and the nature of the issues identified. Such detailed reporting facilitates the board’s efforts in maintaining the quality and clarity of examination papers.
This initiative underscores CBSE’s commitment to upholding high standards in its examination processes and its responsiveness to concerns raised by educational institutions.
