VITEEE 2026 Registration has been started via online mode. Applicants can fill the application forms till 31st March 2026 tentatively. To fill VITEEE 2026 form, online facility is available. VITEEE date has been announced for B.Tech. – Link

Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) is a university level entrance examination. VIT University conducts entrance exam to provide admission into various UG Engineering degree courses.

Those interested candidates will be able to get admission into various UG courses at VIT. Admission will be given to the B.Tech courses in Vellore, Chennai, AP and Bhopal campuses. Candidates will have to fulfil the eligibility criteria below before filling out application form.

 

ABOUT

VIT conducts entrance exam at university level called VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam). To provide admission into various UG Engineering degree courses, this VITEEE exam is conducted. PATTERN

  • It is a Computer Based Test and candidates should do slot booking for Test.
  • The exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration.
  • There will be 5 subject sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English, and Aptitude.
  • All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) i.e. each question will have four choices, only one being the correct choice.
  • Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer.
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • The medium of Question paper will be English.

Eligiblity

VITEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

We have mentioned the complete VITEEE 2026 eligibility criteria in section below:

  • Nationality: Candidates must be Resident/ Non-resident Indian Nationals/ PIO/ OCI to apply.
  • Qualification: From a recognized board, candidates must complete class 12th level or its equivalent to be eligible.
  • Subjects: In qualifying exam, candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology subjects.
  • Marks: To be eligible for VITEEE exam, candidates of general category must score 60% marks aggregate & 50% marks for SC/ST category and candidates of state of Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the Northeastern states.
  • Age Limit: Applying candidates must be born on or after 1st July 2004 to be eligible for UG engineering admission.
  • Appearing: Those appearing candidates in qualifying exam in 2026 will also be eligible to apply for VITEEE 2026.

VITEEE 2026 syllabus has been released via online mode. Based on the 10th & 12th level topics, VITEEE 2026  syllabus is prepared by Vellore Institute of Technology. Procedure

VITEEE 2026 Application Form

  • There is online facility available to fill out VITEEE 2026 application form, no offline method is introduce.
  • Candidates are applicable to fill VITEEE 2026 application form from 24th October 2025.
  • It is mandatory to fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.
  • Register yourself by entering the details such as name, gender, category, address and other required information.
  • Now start filling the application form with details such as academic qualification, personal details, communicational details, etc.
  • Complete the process by uploading the necessary scanned documents in specific format.
  • Application Correction facility will also be provided by the ViT in case of any rectification required in form.
  • Before the last date i.e. 31st March 2026, candidates will have to complete their application procedure.
  • For further usage in admission, candidates will have to take a hardcopy of application form.

How to Apply for VITEEE 2026

Here we have mentioned the step-by-step procedure below to fill VITEEE 2026 form:

  • Step-1: Go to the website of VITEEE (Link is mentioned above).
  • Step-2: Select “VITEEE 2026 – Apply Now” button to proceed.
  • Step-3: Enter the basic details to complete the registration process.
  • Step-4: Now start filling form by entering the details such as qualification, communicational, personal, etc.
  • Step-5: Upload the requisite documents in specific format.
  • Step-6: On the screen, press “Save and continue” option to proceed further.
  • Step-7: Select the online payment mode and pay the prescribed amount of fee.
  • Step-8: Recheck the submitted details and press “Submit” button.
  • Step-9: Do not forget to take a hardcopy of form for further usage.

Result

VITEEE 2026 Result

VIT will release the VITEEE 2026 result in the last week of May 2026. On the website, it will be released via online mode. No other method will be provided to download result. Email ID and Password will be the login credentials required to download the result.

An update related to result will be sent by the institute on the registered email ID of candidates. Based on the marks secured by the candidates in VITEEE 2026 exam, a merit list will also be prepared by the VIT.

VITEEE 2026 Cut Off

Candidates will be able to check the VITEEE 2026 cut off via online mode. VITEEE 2026 Cut off will be published after the declaration of result on the website. Cut off will be refer to the closing ranks offered by the authority for each courses.

To determine the cut off, VIT will consider the various factors such as previous year cut off trends, exam difficulty level, number of candidates, total number of seats available for admission, etc. Candidates who will score more than cut off marks will be considered for the further admission procedure.

Counselling

VITEEE 2026 Counselling

Counselling of VITEEE 2026 is expected to be organized in May 2026. Those qualified candidates in entrance exam will be eligible to participate in VITEEE counselling process. There will be online facility available for counselling session.

To participate, candidates will have to pay the prescribed amount of fee online and need to fill their choice of courses and campuses, category details. Seats will be allocated to candidates after verifying all the original documents.  We are providing the list of required documents for verification below.
