OVERVIEW

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the DU LLB 2022 entrance exam tentatively in July. The University of Delhi (DU) will notify the exam date for DU LLB 2022 entrance exam anytime soon. Moreover, the admit card for DU LLB 2022 will be released on the official website – pgadmissions.uod.ac.in once the exam schedule is available. Candidates could apply for DU LLB 2022 till June 30 only. The DU LLB 2022 exam will be conducted in online mode and will be of two hours duration, with 100 multiple-choice questions being asked from English, Analytical Abilities, Legal Awareness and Aptitude, and GK. Candidates who have passed a graduation degree in any discipline are eligible for admission to the 3-year LLB program. What is DU LLB Entrance Exam?

National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the DU LLB Entrance Exam for admission to three-year LLB courses offered at Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-I and Law Centre-II of Delhi University. The exam is conducted at the national level at more than 18 test cities across India. Through the entrance exam, 2,888 LLB seats will be filled at the three law centres of Delhi University. The intake capacity for the law program at DU Law Centres, currently stands at 2,888 seats.

Eligiblity

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for DU LLB entrance exam 2022 as under:

Qualifying examThe candidate needs to have passed a graduation/post-graduation degree from Delhi University or any other recognized Indian/foreign university.
Minimum marks in the qualifying examThe category-wise minimum marks are as follows:

  • General Category – 50% marks
  • OBC/PH/CW – 45% marks
  • SC/ST – 40% marks
Age limitThere is no age limit for admission to the 3-year law program.

Syllabus

Candidates appearing in the national-level entrance exam need to follow the official syllabus of DU LLB 2022 to prepare for the exam. It is because questions will be asked from the topics included in the DU LLB 2022 syllabus. Also, the candidate must refer to the updated syllabus only and not use the old syllabus for exam preparation. Note that Delhi University has the authority to make changes to make changes to the exam syllabus, like some topics may be dropped, new topics may be included. In some cases, entire sections may be dropped or a new section may be added. For instance, two sections were dropped from AILET 2022.

Exam Pattern 2022

The exam pattern and syllabus should be consulted in tandem for exam preparation. The exam pattern can help the candidate align their exam preparation. For example, the DU LLB 2022 exam will include 100 multiple-choice questions. So, the candidate needs to work on speed as well as accuracy. Another thing is to pay attention to solving objective-type questions rather than long-form questions.

Procedure

Application Form

Delhi University has opened the online link for DU LLB 2022 application form on April 6 onwards. Interested candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for the 3-year LLB program need to duly fill and submit the application form before the last date. When filling the form, only genuine and verifiable information must be used as all details will be checked and verified at the time of counselling.

How to fill the DU LLB 2022 application form

  • Online registration – The candidate will have to get registered by using their email id and phone number
  • Filling of the application form – In this step, the candidate will have to enter personal, educational, and communication details.
  • Uploading of documents – The candidate has to next upload photograph, signature, and other necessary documents as per the format specified.
  • Payment of application fee – The exam fee is INR 750 (INR 300 for SC/ST/PwD/EWS candidates) which has to be paid in online mode.

Result

The details regarding the DU LLB result are given below:

  • DU LLB Result will release in online mode.
  • Candidates can check the result from the official website.
  • The result is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance of the exam.
  • Candidates may take a printout of the result and keep it safe till the admission procedure.
