COMEDK UGET 2025

OVERVIEW

COMEDK is the “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” to determine the merit of students in an effective, fair, transparent, and non-exploitative testing procedure. Presently there are around 150 Engineering colleges that are affiliated with COMEDK and utilize its testing mechanism for taking admission to UG Programme.

COMEDK UGET 2025 Exam Pattern

Students must go through following details regarding COMEDK UGET 2025 Exam Pattern.

  • Mode of Exam: The test will be conducted via online mode.
  • Medium of Exam: The medium of examination will be English only.
  • Total Marks: The total marks of exam would be 180.
  • Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in entrance exam.
  • Total Question: There will be 180 questions in exam.
  • Duration: Total 3 hours will be provided to candidates for exam.
  • Marking Scheme: For each right answer, candidates will be awarded 1 mark.
  • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking in COMEDK UGET.

Eligiblity

Note

  • All eligible students in the country are allowed to appear for the COMEDK examination.
  • Only SC/ST and OBC candidates from Karnataka are eligible for the benefit of lower qualifying marks.

 

Eligibility for Admission

For Engineering courses

Qualifying Examination

  • Second PUC or
  • 10+2 Higher Secondary or
  • Equivalent examination recognized by the State/Central Government.

 

Marks in Qualifying Examination

  • Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates from Karnataka) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Candidates must also have passed these subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) individually, with English as a compulsory subject.
  • Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects, along with one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics.

 

Note

  • Candidates must take the COMEDK UGET exam for engineering admissions through COMEDK.
  • Diploma holders are not eligible to take the COMEDK UGET exam, as lateral entry admissions are not offered.

Syllabus

COMEDK UGET 2025 Syllabus

The COMEDK UGET 2025 Syllabus will be based on the CBSE syllabus of class 11th and 12th. The syllabus consist of various topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

MOCK TEST

  • The official mock test is made available to the candidates appearing for COMEDK UGET.
  • Candidates can take the Mock Test to understand the pattern of the computer-based test and make themselves familiar with the interface.
  • The mock test is for practice purposes only.

fees

Application Fee:

  • The COMEDK UGET 2025 application fee is yet to be announced. The COMEDK UGET 2024 application fee was ₹1800 (₹2950 for both COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE).

  • Students will be able to submit it through online mode.
  • The payment methods to submit fee will be debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
  • Fees will be non-refundable under any circumstances.

Procedure

Result

COMEDK UGET 2025 Result will be released after a few days of entrance exam. Students will be able to download their results in the fourth week of May 2025. Candidates will need to enter their application number and password to access the result.

The authority will prepare result on the basis of candidate’s performance in entrance exam. Candidates must keep their result safe until the admission procedure gets over. Also, candidates must take a printout of result as it will be required at the time of counselling.

Counselling

COMEDK UGET 2025 Cut Off

COMEDK UGET Cut Off 2025 will be published in the month of May 2025. The cut off will be a minimum mark that should be secured by candidates in the entrance exam to be eligible for further admission procedure. If candidates fail to secure minimum cut off marks, they will not be able to participate in further admission procedures.

The COMEDK UGET cut off will be released after each round of seat allotment. The cut off will be prepared after considering various factors such as candidates category, number of seats, previous year cut off etc.

COMEDK UGET 2025 Counselling

COMEDK UGET Counselling 2025 will be organised in June 2025 through online mode. The counselling will consist of registration, choice filling and locking, seat allotment and fee payment. COMEDK UGET counselling will consist of three phases.

Only qualified candidates will be able to participate in counselling on the basis of their rank obtained in entrance exam. Candidates must carry required documents for the verification process.
