DU UG Admission 2025: Over 93,000 Seats Allotted in Round 1; 1,300+ Seats Under Single Girl Child Quota

In a significant development for aspirants of Delhi University’s undergraduate programmes, a total of 93,166 candidates have secured seats in Round 1 of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2025. The allotment is based on CUET UG 2025 scores and preferences filled by students across more than 70 DU colleges.
This year, the university also witnessed increased utilisation of special quotas, with over 1,300 candidates admitted under the Single Girl Child (SGC) quota, reflecting DU’s continued focus on inclusive and diverse representation.

🎓 Categories and Preferences
A large share of admissions were made in popular honours courses like Political Science, Economics, English, and BCom (Hons) — especially at top colleges such as Hindu College, SRCC, Miranda House, and Hansraj College. Many programs saw CUET percentiles above 99% for General category seats.
Special quotas including SGC, ECA (Extra-Curricular Activities), Sports, NCC, and PWD were also implemented, with thousands of students benefiting from reserved category seats.

Candidates satisfied with their current allotment must accept the seat and pay the admission fee within the specified timeline. Those wishing to upgrade can reorder their preferences during the Round 2 window between July 24 and 25, ahead of the next allotment on July 28, 2025.
