• Overall vacancy tally includes:

  • NITs: yet to be updated for 2025 (previous year approx. 4,611 vacancies)

  • IIITs: data forthcoming (2024 had roughly 2,447)

  • GFTIs: expected similar to 2024 (~5,700)

🗓️ Special Round Schedule:

• The Special Round enrolment fee is ₹40,000 for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL and ₹19,000 for SC/ST/ PwD candidates, including ₹5,000 non-refundable processing fee.

🔄 What’s New This Year:

• Combined CSAB‑Special and DASA process, with three allocation rounds for both domestic and international applicants.

• Fresh registration mandatory—JoSAA registration isn’t valid for CSAB Special Rounds. Document verification timing differs between CSAB and DASA.

• Candidates with previously changed categories during JoSAA document verification may request restoration to their original category during CSAB registration.
