Counselling process for reserved seats of B.Tech and B.Arch for BC 1 and BC 2 of Jharkhand started in BIT Mesra Main Campus

Admission to Main Campus of BIT Mesra is done on the basis of rank of JEE Main through JoSAA counseling but through JoSAA counseling there is no separate quota for OBC – BIT Mesra separate for OBC category consults with

BIT Mesra was established in 1955 and got the status of Deemed University in 1986. Extension center of BIT Mesra is not only in India but also in Bahrain.

Who can take part in this counseling

1. Those who are in BC 1 and BC 2 category of Jharkhand and have a certificate issued by the government

2. Must have done  10+2 from Jharkhand only

3. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, one language and any one paper in class XII for B.Tech and Integrated M.Sc.

4. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in class XII for B. Arch and any two papers in class XII

5. JEE Main All India Rank up to 2 Lakh for B.Tech and JEE Main All India Rank 20000 to 2.5 Lakh for Integrated M.Sc.

6. JEE Main Paper 2 All India Rank Up to 50000 Ranks for B.Arch

7. EBC and OBC certificates issued after 1st April 2022 will be valid and at least it should have been issued from SDO level. The certificate issued by an officer below SDO will not be valid.

8. Candidate must have proficiency in written and spoken English

What is the main information related to the application

1. Application starts from 19th September and last date of application is 10th October

2.  Seat allotment list will be released on October 15

3. Application process is online and application fee is Rs 1500 which is non refundable

4. The application will be on www.bitmesra.ac.in only! Never from any other website!

5 If you are applying for B.Arch and Integrated M.Sc in addition to B.Tech, then a separate application will have to be filled.
