- Candidates first need to register themself by entering a valid email id and phone number. An OTP will then be sent for verification.

- Fill the application form with correct academic and personal details such as name, DOB, city preference, marks in last qualifying examinations etc.
- Upload the required documents.
- Proceed to pay the application fee of INR 4000 (INR 3500 for SC/ST/BPL) via net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ UPI.

Admission Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates are required to have a Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) of the Haryana School Education Board or its equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate.
- For SC/ST candidates, the minimum aggregate is 40%.
- Candidates appearing in or awaiting results of the qualifying examination held or being held in March/April 2019 are eligible to apply for admissions and appear for the Combined Law Admission Test (CLAT) provisionally.

NLU Sonipat PG Diploma in Corporate Law

The student must have secured a minimum of 50% (minimum marks are necessary for SC/ST category students) in an Undergraduate bachelor’s degree from any institute, college, or university recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission)
Placements
The university is relatively new, with only one batch having graduated so far. The first batch saw limited placements, with 8 to 10 students securing jobs, and only about 3 students out of 120 getting placed in corporate roles. The highest package offered was around 18-19 lakhs per annum, while some students received pre-placement offers from tier 1 law firms with packages starting at 8 lakhs per annum. The Internship and Placement Cell (IPC), established in 2021, actively facilitates internships each semester and has connections with various NGOs, courts, and legal professionals.
Students are eligible for campus placements starting from the 9th semester, though the absence of a placement officer and the college’s recent establishment contribute to challenges in securing placements. Internships are mandatory, with opportunities available in district and high courts, Supreme Court, NGOs, and law firms, primarily in January and July. The IPC also organizes events and seminars to enhance students’ prospects.
Dr BR Ambedkar National Law University also known as DBRANLU offers placements for all UG and PG programmes. The University has a Training and Placement Cell which coordinates with the companies for placement drives.
The cell is responsible for conducting seminars, industry-interface, training, personality development programs and workshops for the students.
