The exam conducting body, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released the detailed schedule for its undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25. Students are urged to follow the prescribed timelines for various upcoming processes, such as upgradation, document verification, and hostel allotment. The university will notify admitted students via email regarding the submission of specific document verification and hostel assignment. Applicants are advised to visit the official website for more updates and information.

According to the scheduled dates, spot round registration will begin on September 9, 2024. Applicants would be able to apply for BHU UG admission 2024 through the official website of BHU at bhu.ac.in.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR BHU UG ADMISSIONS

• Upgrade before Spot Round: September 5

• • Fee Adjustment for Upgraded Candidates: September 5 to September 7 (until 11:59 am)
  • Spot Round-1 Registration: September 9 (from 5 pm) to September 11 (until 11:59 pm)
  • Spot Round-1 Seat Allocation & Fee Submission: September 12 to September 14

• Physical Reporting for Admitted Students (Excluding Spot Round Candidates): September 13 (10 am) to September 14 (4 pm)
• Candidates are advised to stay informed through official university channels for further updates and instructions.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants who haven’t registered for counselling yet, those wait listed after the regular allotment round, candidates who missed paying the fee despite receiving a seat offer, and individuals whose admissions were revoked or rejected during verification are all eligible to apply.

Applicants with eligibility who wish to appear in the spot round must select “Spot Admission” from their online dashboard and pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 500.
