Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has launched 22 diverse courses on the SWAYAM platform for the January 2025 session. These free online courses aim to make quality education accessible to learners nationwide.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU), recognised for its academic excellence and innovative approach to education, has announced the launch of 22 courses on the SWAYAM platform for the January 2025 session. SWAYAM, an initiative by the Government of India, aims to provide free access to quality education through a flexible and interactive online learning platform, making it accessible to students, professionals, and educators across the country.
Dr Ashutosh Mohan, Coordinator of BHU SWAYAM, highlighted that the courses have been thoughtfully designed by BHU’s esteemed faculty, covering a diverse range of topics from Indian Knowledge Systems, Finance, Law, and Agriculture to Machine Learning, Tourism, Culture Studies, and Life Skills. The programmes, ranging from 4 to 12 weeks in duration, cater to a wide audience, including students, working professionals, and lifelong learners.
Scheduled to begin on January 20, 2025, the courses offer a unique opportunity to explore contemporary and traditional academic themes. Exams for the enrolled courses will be held in April 2025. Interested learners can register via the SWAYAM portal at https://swayam.gov.in/INI.
