    JEE Main 2024 session 1 exam will be held between January 24 and February 1, 2024 for admission into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registrations window for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 1 on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, today.

    The JEE Main 2024 session 1 admit card will be available three days prior to the exam, which will be held between January 24 and February 1, 2024. The JEE Main 2024 is being conducted for admission into National Institutes of technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IIITs), and other government-funded technology institutes (GFTIs).

    The JEE Main 2024 exam will have three papers – Paper 1 for BTech programs, Paper 2A for Bachelor of Architecture, and Paper 2B for Bachelor of Planning.

    JEE Mains Total questions

    Mathematics: 25 (20+10) 10 Questions with answers as a numerical value. Out of 10 questions, 5 questions are compulsory.

    Physics: 25 (20+10) 10 Questions with answers as a numerical value. Out of 10 questions, 5 questions are compulsory.

    Chemistry: 25 (20+10) 10 Questions with answers as a numerical value. Out of 10 questions, 5 questions are compulsory.

    Total: 75 Questions (25 questions each)

    Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct response while one mark will be deducted for each wrong response. No marks will be awarded for unattempted questions.

    Candidates appearing for the JEE Mains exam should have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with 75%. However, those from the SC/ST categories should have at least 65% in Class 12 in these subjects.
