The Joint Admissions Committee has officially released the admit cards for the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research Aptitude Test (IISER IAT) 2026. Candidates who successfully registered for the examination can now download their hall tickets from the official admission portal.

The IISER Aptitude Test 2026 will be conducted on June 7, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at various examination centres across the country. The examination is scheduled in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

IISER IAT is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission into the prestigious four-year BS programmes and five-year BS-MS dual degree programmes offered by various IISER campuses in India. Thousands of science aspirants appear for the examination every year seeking admission into research-oriented undergraduate programmes.

The examination paper will include questions from four major subjects:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics
• Biology

The syllabus is primarily based on the NCERT curriculum of Classes 11 and 12.

Candidates must carefully verify all details mentioned on their admit card, including:

• Candidate’s name
• Photograph and signature
• Roll number
• Exam centre details
• Reporting time
• Examination day instructions

Students are advised to immediately contact the examination authorities in case of any discrepancy in the hall ticket.

To appear for the examination, candidates must carry:

• A printed copy of the admit card
• A valid photo identity proof

Without the admit card, entry to the examination centre will not be permitted.

Candidates are also advised to reach the examination centre well before the reporting time to avoid last-minute inconvenience and complete verification procedures smoothly.
