The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the deadline for reporting to colleges under NEET UG 2025 round 1 counselling. Candidates who have been allotted MBBS or BDS seats in the first round can now complete their reporting process till August 22, 2025.

Earlier, the last date for reporting was August 18. The extension aims to provide candidates with additional time to arrange documents, complete formalities, and travel to their allotted institutes, especially for those facing delays due to administrative or logistical issues.

Candidates must report to their allotted colleges with all required original documents, admission letters, and fee payment receipts. Failure to report within the extended timeline will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.

The MCC is expected to release the round 2 counselling schedule soon on its official website — mcc.nic.in.
