The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has once again revised the schedule for NEET UG 2025 counselling, extending the deadline for round 1 MBBS and BDS choice-filling to August 11, 2025.

This extension is aimed at providing candidates with more time to carefully plan and submit their preferences for medical and dental colleges under the All India Quota (AIQ) and other participating institutions. The choice-locking facility will remain available until the same date, ensuring that students can finalise their lists without rushing.

MCC officials stated that the revised timeline would help reduce last-minute errors and technical issues faced by candidates during the online choice submission process. After the choice-filling window closes, the round 1 seat allotment results will be declared, followed by the reporting process at allotted institutes.

The NEET UG counselling process includes multiple rounds, with seats allocated based on NEET scores, candidate preferences, category, and seat availability. Students are advised to review their options thoroughly and complete the process well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute complications.
