NIT Rourkela opens registration for DASA and CSAB Special 2025 from July 30 for UG admissions. Eligible students can apply online at csab.nic.in.

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, which is handling the DASA and CSAB Special Round 2025, has started taking applications from students starting July 30.

There is one common registration process for students who want to take admission in undergraduate courses in NITs, IIITs, IIEST, SPAs, and other technical colleges supported by the central or state government. Students can register on the official website: csab.nic.in.

Students who are eligible can log in using their JEE (Main/Advanced/JoSAA 2025) login details.

Important dates

• Registration starts: July 30
• Last date to pay fees and upload documents: August 3 (by 5 PM)
• Last date to reply to queries (during DASA document check): August 6
• Last date to lock seat choices: August 7 (by 8 PM)

Seat allotment result dates

• Round 1: August 9 (5 PM)
• Round 2: August 14 (5 PM)
• Round 3: August 19 (5 PM)

Students who get a seat must go in person to their allotted college between August 20 and 23. These dates are not final- students should contact the college to know the exact reporting dates.

Categories of seats

• General and reserved categories – EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST
• PwD (Persons with Disabilities) for each of the above categories
• Supernumerary seats for female students

In this process, students can choose either DASA, CSAB Special, or both together. But note that reservation rules only apply to CSAB Special, not DASA.
