St Stephen’s Admission Process for DU UG 2025

    St

St Stephen’s College, one of Delhi University’s most prestigious institutions, will continue with its unique admission process for the academic year 2025-26. While Delhi University follows the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) based on CUET UG scores, St Stephen’s will maintain a hybrid model, combining CUET scores with a college-conducted interview for specific candidates.

Key Highlights of St Stephen’s Admission Process:

    🔹 CUET + Interview-Based Selection

For Christian-minority candidates, the selection will be based on:

    • 85% weightage to CUET UG 2025 scores

    • 15% weightage to personal interview conducted by the college

    🔹 CSAS Registration Mandatory

All applicants, irrespective of category, must:

    • Appear in CUET UG 2025

    • Register on the DU CSAS portal and select St Stephen’s College among their preferred institutions

🔹 Minority Quota & Reservation Policy

St Stephen’s is allowed to reserve 50% of its seats for Christian-minority candidates. The remaining 50% will be filled based on CUET scores and as per Delhi University’s reservation norms for General, SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories.

    🔹 Interview for Minority Candidates

Only Christian-minority candidates shortlisted on the basis of their CUET scores will be called for interviews. These interviews will carry 15% of the total weightage in the final merit calculation.

    🔹 Final Admission Procedure

Final admission to St Stephen’s will be based on the combined CUET score and interview performance (for minority candidates). For non-minority candidates, admission will be based purely on CUET UG 2025 scores and CSAS seat allotment.

    Important Dates to Remember:

    • First CSAS Seat Allotment: July 19–21, 2025 (expected)

    • Interview Schedule: To be notified by the college separately

    • Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation: As per DU’s official counselling schedule
