The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has started the registration process for NEET UG 2025 counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the 85% state quota. Eligible candidates can register online through the official JKBOPEE portal from July 18 to July 22, 2025.

🔹 Registration Details:

• Start Date: July 18, 2025 (from 10:00 AM)

• Last Date: July 22, 2025 (till midnight)

• Counselling Fee: ₹1,500 for all categories

🔹 Eligibility & Process:

• Only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2025 and are included in the J&K State Merit List are eligible.

• The counselling process includes online registration, document upload, fee payment, choice filling, and seat allotment.

• All stages of counselling will be conducted through the JKBOPEE’s official online platform.

🔹 Participating Institutions:

Admissions will be granted into MBBS and BDS courses offered by government and private medical/dental colleges of Jammu & Kashmir, including:

• Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu – 153 seats

• GMC Srinagar – 153 seats

• Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar – 106 seats

• GMC Anantnag, Baramulla, Rajouri, Kathua, and Doda – 85 to 98 seats each

• Private Institutions like ASCOMS, Dental Colleges, and Ayush Institutes for BDS and allied courses

📌 What Candidates Should Do:

1. Visit the JKBOPEE counselling portal and complete the registration process.

2. Upload scanned documents and pay the registration fee of ₹1,500.

3. Wait for the release of the state merit list, after which the choice-filling and seat allotment rounds will follow.

4. Once seats are allotted, candidates must report to the respective colleges within the given timeframe.

This marks the beginning of Round 1 counselling for Jammu & Kashmir NEET UG 2025 aspirants. Candidates are advised to complete all steps before the deadline to secure admission into their preferred medical or dental college.
