    Punjab NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Registration begins for MBBS, BDS admissions

    Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has officially opened the registration window for Punjab NEET UG 2025 counselling, facilitating admissions to MBBS and BDS programmes in government and private medical and dental colleges under the state quota.

    📅 Important Dates (Punjab State Quota)

    • Registration Start: July 15, 2025

    • Registration End: July 24, 2025 (portal closes at 3 PM)

    • Fee Payment Deadline: July 25, 2025


    👩‍🎓 Eligibility & Seat Coverage

    • Only candidates with a qualifying NEET UG 2025 score can apply.

    • Covers 85% of MBBS and BDS seats in Punjab (state quota), including private colleges.

    • The remaining 15% All India Quota seats are handled nationally by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).


    📋 How to Register

    1. Visit the official BFUHS website and navigate to the MBBS/BDS admission section.

    2. Complete online registration and upload required documents (NEET scorecard, 10/12 mark sheets, ID proof, domicile, category certificate, passport-size photo, etc.).

    3. Pay the registration fee:

      • General category: approximately ₹5,900

      • SC category: approximately ₹2,950 (all inclusive with GST)


    📊 Seats & Fee Structure

    BFUHS oversees around 1,425 MBBS and 1,260 BDS seats across Punjab.

    • Government MBBS seats: approx. 850–1,000

    • Private MBBS seats: approx. 1,000

    • Government BDS seats: approx. 100

    • Private BDS seats: approx. 300

    BFUHS will publish the provisional merit list soon after the registration deadline, followed by choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting schedule in late July to early August.


    🔍 Counselling Rounds & Process

    • Round 1: Register, fill choices, allotment in late July/early August

    • Round 2: Fresh registrations or upgradation for unfilled seats (dates to be announced)

    • Further Rounds: Mop-up or stray vacancy rounds as needed

    • Keep photocopies of all required documents and payment receipts
